This course is for operations managers, maintenance leads, supervisors, and safety professionals. The course covers how to pre-task high-risk work tasks, such as lockouts, confined space entry, and hot work. Topics include severe loss causation, the SafeTask® Formula, the SafeTask® processes, hazard identification & risk assessment, task safety analysis, work permitting, safety briefings, cross checks, contractor management, and an application exercise.
How to Manage a Non-Routine Event
This course is for senior managers, operations managers, maintenance leads, supervisors, and safety professionals. The course covers how to adapt a safety management system to the irregularities of a non-routine event. We review High Reliability Organization (HRO) principles and show the participants how to apply a 15-point planning model to change the average safety observation score to >90% during the high-risk work and action.
How to Start with Behavior-Based Safety
This workshop is for senior managers, operations managers, supervisors, union leads, and safety professionals. The workshop demystifies behavior-based safety processes. It covers how to plan, organize, and implement a safety observation process, including observation mechanics, checklists, conducting observations, giving feedback, analyzing the data, and developing action plans.
