Bryan Raughley

President and Founder

Bryan assists clients with implementing workplace safety solutions. With 27 years of experience, he is an expert in management systems, behavior-based safety, learning, and general safety. Bryan teaches our courses, safety training, and train-the-trainer processes.

Bryan is educated in safety engineering. He earned an M.S. in Safety Management from West Virginia University (1996) and a B.S. in Fire & Safety Engineering from Eastern Kentucky University (1993). Bryan funded is education by working as firefighter/emt.

Bryan completed Dave Ramsey’s EntreLeadership® course in person and uses their small business resources.

Bryan is an avid backpacker, hiker, and kayaker. He enjoys running, photography, and weekend travel exploring with his wife and family.

Jennifer Raughley

Team Coordinator
Event Planner

Jen coordinates the office processes, keeps our content organized on the learning management system, and coordinates logistics for our private and public learning events.

Jen was previously a meeting planner for a national trade association in Tysons Corner, VA, and a case manager for an insurance broker in Charlotte, NC.

Jen leads the homeschooling of a teen with a learning disability using a learning management system.

Joe Rampey

Safety Instructor

Joe serves clients part-time as an instructor and field consultant. He teaches basic safety classes, chemical safety and hazardous materials, confined space entry, and defensive driving.  Joe is also adept at preparing energy control procedures for lockouts.

Joe is retired Firefighter/EMT, Rescue Technician, and Hazardous Materials Technician. He also worked as laboratory scientist specializing in paints and pigments.

B.S. in Chemistry, Southern Wesleyan University

Joe is passionate about woodworking and home building. He built his own home, literally. He enjoys boating and exploring in the RV.

Andrew Ansley

Risk Consultant

Andrew performs property risk engineering surveys and consulting on a part-time basis for our insurance clients. He evaluates high value properties for risk quality, including construction, occupancy and hazards, fire protection systems and water supplies, and loss exposures.

Andrew is a Deputy Chief with a suburban fire & rescue department near Charlotte, NC. He holds numerous certifications and maintains his department’s national accreditation.

Andrew earned the following degrees:

M.P.A. in Emergency Management, UNC Charlotte
B.S. in Criminal Justice, Western Carolina University
A.A.S. in Fire Protection, Central Piedmont Community College

Steve Pomponi, CSP

Steve is VP of Risk and Safety Management at a leading national insurance broker, PSA Insurance & Financial Services. He is a licensed SafeTask® Supervision instructor providing courses and training to a wide range of clients in general industry and construction. PSA is an authorized SafeTask® Partner .
